  • Wife and I ate here last night. We are spending 8 days in Spain and were worried about what being on the carnivore diet would look like. Vaca vieja was wonderful and the ribeye for two was the best steak we've had in all of Spain. Highly recommend!

  • Every single dish was absolutely delicious. Nice and prompt service, stylish interior. Not far from the Plaza Major.

  • Probably one of the best meats in Salamanca, the owner defines himself as a butcher, not a cook, appreciate the honesty with which they simply serve a perfectly grilled piece of quality beef. All the tables are served with cold water, and the wine carte is very nice with reasonable prices. They serve the bottle with the cork in case you decide to take the remaining wine , which we did. We ordered a T-Bone for two, with a bottle of Rioja and a side dish of homemade fries. Paid around 70€ for two. You can't tip if you pay by card, the service was excellent, so remember to bring some cash,if you like to tip. Unfortunately we didn't have cash, so hope to make it up with this mention. Remember to reserve in advance, directly in their web site.

  • Excellent food, outstanding service. We were recommended this restaurant and it surpassed our expectations. Jose (the owner and a butcher by trade) was a fantastic host, talking us through the menu and making sure the meat was cooked to our taste. It was obvious that he is passionate about the food and drink he serves. We ordered salmorejo to start which was excellent. We then shared a chuleton (bone-in ribeye) with chips and salad. The meat was tender, delicious and perfectly cooked. An unforgettable evening. Thank you Jose for your hospitality which is the best I have received in my 2 years in Spain. 5 stars and highly, highly recommended!

  • Most probably the best experience in Salamanca regarding the veal. One of the most pleasant meals in Spain. I reckon it is candidate for Michelin stars.

  • We had the most beautiful and special evening. The owner and staff remembered that it was a special birthday, served our wine in gorgeous celebratory wine glasses, the wines were exquisite ( all recommended by the owner and our waiter) and the balsamic vinegar and olive oils were outstanding. The food portions were ample, the taste delicious and everyone spoke some English. I highly recommend the Risotto, Burrata Cheese Salad, creamed spinach, steak, crostini drizzled in olive oil - delectable. Really a very special and beautiful experience. I can’t recommend highly enough
